Learn how to give constructive feedback, in a way that is heard, appreciated, and acted upon.
Positive feedback is lovely to give, there is no conflict or tenseness, and it is great for someone to know what they are doing well. After all recognition and encouragement are important elements of motivation. But the times when we grow the most are often when we realise, that we have made a mistake or done something wrong. That is why negative constructive feedback can be so incredibly valuable. Unfortunately, negative constructive feedback can often be perceived as an attack or critique. This is why as leaders we often feel nervous or avoid giving it. After all – we don’t want the individual to feel attacked, and sometimes we feel it just won’t do any good. Giving constructive feedback can be stressful – for all concerned, the good news is that it doesn’t have to be… This workshop will share simple to deploy, tried and tested approaches and frameworks, that will help you deliver difficult feedback. The approaches ensure we consider the sometimes complex emotions that can be in play, whilst the step-by-step frameworks ensure the feedback is understood and acted upon. “Feedback is a gift, and wise leaders give it generously”. – Use this workshop to ensure you are giving it the right way.
