This is an intensive two-day course that includes the following:

Important : Please note you will require a copy of the official PRINCE2 7th Edition manual for the PRINCE2 Practitioner course and exam. This is not included in the cost of the course. Should you wish to purchase the manual you can add it to your shopping cart once you have selected your chosen date.  

Materials

Hardcopy course material : You will be provided with a printed version of the ILX course material. This will be issued on day one of your course.

Hardcopy official manual: If you decide to purchase the official manual as an optional extra your manual will be shipped to your chosen address approximately two weeks prior to course commencement.

Hardcopy PRINCE2 process map: If you decide to purchase the hardcopy PRINCE2 process map as an optional extra it will be shipped to your chosen address approximately two weeks prior to course commencement.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two working days prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exam. Please note: We would like to inform you that during open book exams candidates can use only official hard copy books or softcopy e-books available only through VitalSource on a secondary device. 

Recertification: This certification has a renew within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, more information regarding the options can be found here.

Exam format

• 150 minutes
• 70 questions, each worth 1 mark
• 42 questions correct to pass the exam
• Open book (The PRINCE2 7 official book, should be used but no other material is allowed)

*Please note due to the extent of the changes between versions, PRINCE2® 5th Edition and all other previous versions will not be accepted as pre-requisites for PRINCE2®7 Practitioner.

Important : If you already hold PRINCE2 6th Edition Foundation, you have the option to directly pursue PRINCE2 7 Practitioner. However, for continuity we recommend continuing your journey and completing PRINCE2 6th Edition Practitioner.

Pre-course

Important note regarding pre-course

There is mandatory online pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. It is expected that it will take approximately six to eight hours to complete.You will be sent full instructions with a link to the online pre course within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.

In addition, whilst attending your course there will also be some examination preparation evening work.
