A leading health retreat and spa is seeking a motivated Management Accountant to fulfil a key role within its busy head office environment.
Reporting to the General Manager, this exciting opportunity offers great variety, a fantastic working environment and strong developmental prospects.The successful candidate will play a major role in not only the day-to-day financial management of the organisation but also in driving the future commercial success of the group of companies.
You will be tasked with producing detailed and insightful monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, maintenance of the fixed asset register, handling VAT including partial exemptions and conducting detailed business and financial analysis.In addition, you will manage the annual statutory reporting process for companies within the group and all audits, as well as managing projects, preparation of bids and handling reporting to external bodies, including OFSTED.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with strong communications skills, advanced commercial acumen and the ability to work with a diverse stakeholder group around the organisation.The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
