Learn how ITIL (Version 5) supports the full product and service lifecycle, from discovery and design through to build, transition, operate, deliver and support. The course helps you understand how these activities connect and support value creation across product and service teams.

Building an experience-led approach

Explore how human experience shapes the success of products and services. You’ll be introduced to the ITIL Experience Model, service journeys, stakeholder roles and experience evidence, helping you consider real user needs alongside operational performance.

Transformation, governance and AI concepts

This course helps experienced ITIL practitioners reach ITIL Managing Professional (Version 5) status without having to complete the included modules separately.

What exams are included?

The course includes two exams.

Firstly, ITIL Managing Professional Transition – Product, Service Experience (Version 5), this is an open book exam (official manuals only) which lasts two hours and has a pass mark of 70% (42/60).

The other is ITIL Transformation (Version 5). This exam is also open book, has a duration of 90 minutes, and a pass mark of 70% (28/40).

How long is the ITIL Managing Professional Transition (Version 5) course?

This course runs over five days and is available through our live virtual and in-person classroom study options.
