MSP® 5th Edition Foundation classroom

About the course

This three-day classroom course will help prepare you for the Foundation examination. The examination is intended to assess whether you can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the MSP programme management framework.

This course is currently subject to accreditation.


This is an intensive three-day classroom course that helps prepares you for the MSP 5th Edition Foundation examination.


There are no formal prerequisites for the MSP 5th Edition Foundation qualification.

By the end of this course, you should:

  • Understand key concepts relating to programmes and MSP
  • Understand how the MSP principles underpin the MSP framework
  • Understand the MSP themes and how they are applied throughout the programme
  • Understand the MSP processes and how they are carried out throughout the programme

  • The MSP official manual
  • The cost of the MSP 5th Edition Foundation examination (the exam is taken on the last day of the course)

There is mandatory online pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. You will be sent full instructions prior to the event. Full instructions with a link to the online pre-course will be issued within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.  In addition, whilst attending the course there will also be some exam preparation evening work.
