First established in June 2020, our Diversity, Inclusion, Equality, and Belonging (DEIB) Group have been working hard to improve policies across the company. From the introduction of our diversity survey to having half our workforce mental health first aider trained, the group have achieved great change so far.

What has been achieved since 2020?

Over the last five years, there have been several introductions made across the business by our DEIB Group. These include:

  • Running focus sessions educating employees on a given religious or cultural event
  • Implementing a Mental Health First Aiders training programme, which half our team have now completed
  • Creating an ‘Employee Spotlight’ newsletter giving the team a chance to get to know colleagues they may not work closely with
  • Attending several Wellbeing at Work conferences to understand how other organisations are improving DEIB practices
  • Organising financial wellbeing workshops to educate employees on areas such as pensions, investments, mortgages, and more
  • Offering neurodiversity training teaching employees how best to communicate with their neurodivergent colleagues

What do we have planned for 2026?

Despite these many improvements, the group still have a lot planned for the coming months.

Following multiple years focused on women’s health and the menopause, attentions are shifting to men’s health with a webinar scheduled for the summer. The team are also looking to extend the group to include our colleagues from sister companies, TSG Training and StayAhead.

Our diversity survey results

One of the main achievements of our DEIB Group, is the introduction of our annual diversity survey. This offers a picture of our existing workforce and helps show how it’s changing over the years.
