Sales Team Performance Manager

Location: Hybrid – Bracknell (2 days per week)

Salary: circa £60,000 OTE per annum, depending on experience

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Performance Manager to join ILX Group, a global provider of professional training and consulting solutions. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance and development of our New Business Development Team (NBDT) and supporting new sales hires. This role is about shaping success through structured coaching, training, and performance management, while working closely with Account Directors across vertical teams to align strategy and deliver commercial growth. Based on a hybrid model, you will spend two days per week in our Bracknell office.

About You

You will be an experienced sales leader with a proven background in coaching, developing, and managing high-performing teams in a B2B environment. You understand modern sales methodologies such as Challenger or consultative selling and are confident in embedding these into practice. Commercially astute, you can balance revenue growth with profitability, ensuring GP% targets are achieved. You will also bring strong experience in CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, and a passion for driving compliance and process excellence. Above all, you are a collaborative and motivational leader, able to influence, inspire trust, and build a culture of accountability and high performance.

What you will be doing?

In this role, you will deliver regular one-to-one and group coaching to help sales team members meet and exceed their targets. You will design and oversee onboarding and ongoing training programmes, equipping the team with the skills and confidence to succeed. You will embed consistent use of our sales process and Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate data and timely follow-up of opportunities. Working in partnership with the Sales Director and Account Directors, you will support territory management, pricing strategies, and value-based selling, with a clear focus on driving revenue, gross profit, and margin growth. Alongside this, you will ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements and maintain accurate sales documentation. Importantly, you will act as a culture champion, fostering collaboration, celebrating success, and ensuring ILX values are embedded in everyday practice.
