Content Marketing Executive

At ILX, we’re expanding our global marketing activity, and looking for a ContentMarketing Executive to join our growing team. The marketing team is based in Bracknell and we operate a hybrid working model – three days in the office and two days from home.

What will you be doing?

The Content Marketing Executive is responsible for writing copy for all types of marketing activity and sales collateral, for both B2B and B2C audiences. We’re looking for someone who loves words, and has meticulous attention to detail when it comes to spelling, grammar and punctuation. 

Day-to-day activity will include:

  • Drafting copy for a high volume of weekly marketing emails for a wide range of geographical territories, promoting our training courses, blogs, podcasts and webinars
  • Planning, scheduling and running the monthly calendar of live webinars
  • Creating sales collateral such as flyers and brochures
  • Writing content pieces, such as blogs, social posts and web pages
  • Working in close collaboration with our web agency to improve the website UX
  • Work with the rest of the marketing team to plan, execute, and measure our integrated digital marketing campaigns

Desired skills and experience

We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player, ideally with at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar marketing role, or a fast learner who has excellent written skills. 

You will be working closely with all members of the marketing team and our web agency on a daily basis. You will also need to collaborate with internal stakeholders within our sales and operations teams, to ensure campaigns are fully aligned across the business, and to maximise channels and sales integration.

Our perfect candidate will have faultless written English, to draft compelling copy for digital, social and e-marketing activity. We’re looking for someone with incredible attention to detail and excellent organisational skills — you will need to have the ability to prioritise a demanding workload effectively!

Useful experience to have:

  • Copywriting for B2B email marketing
  • Knowledge of the learning and development industry
  • Working with CRM platforms (Pardot, Salesforce)
  • Managing websites, using a CMS
  • International marketing – the challenges and logistics
  • Knowledge and understanding of lead generation (B2B and B2C)
  • An understanding of SEO and PPC

Part time HR Director

Job role: Part time HR Director (2.5 days per week)

Reports to: CEO

Role based in: Hybrid working with 2 - 3 days per month in the Bracknell office.

We’re looking for a part time HR Director, to join a group of innovative, ambitious, high growth companies. Our high growth companies need the skills of an experienced but self-sufficient, standalone HR Director to work with our CEOs and Managers.

This is a sole charge, hands on role, in which you will work across all HR remits. Some processes will be in place, but it is up to you to tweak/ implement new process in conjunction with our CEOs. This will suit someone who is excited by implementing new initiatives, loves working in a creative environment and has a passion for people and welfare. The successful candidate must be equally happy working in the weeds of transactional HR as they are working strategically with our C-Suite.

The responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment and Selection: You will be involved in creating job descriptions, posting job openings, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process.
  • Employee Relations: You will handle employee inquiries, resolve conflicts, and provide guidance on workplace issues.
  • Performance Management: You will oversee performance evaluations, feedback, and development plans for employees.
  • Training and Development: You will identify training needs, organise training sessions, and support employee development initiatives.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Provide advice and guidance to CEO’s (The day-to-day management of payroll, benefits administration, and compensation is handled by each company and managed by the individual CEOs and Group CFO)
  • Compliance: You will ensure the organisation's HR practices are compliant with Employment laws and regulations and includes reviewing policies annually and amending.
  • Employee Engagement: You will work with our CEOs to create a positive work environment, foster employee morale, carry out annual employee engagement surveys and work to address any employee concerns.
  • HR Metrics: Establish a suitable set of HR metrics for assessing the effectiveness of HR programmes.

What you will need to be successful

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organisation.
  • A proven track record relevant demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • An undergraduate degree and relevant CIPD qualifications (or similar)
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, employment regulations, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Occasional travel to offices in Huddersfield and Leicester may be required.

As an individual we are looking for someone who is confident, has experience working in a standalone role and is able to coach, mentor, problem solve.
