Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (IASSC) Online

This Lean Six Sigma training course equips individuals with the skills needed to apply Lean thinking to lead teams and enhance manufacturing quality and business processes.

Become a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is the most exclusive qualification for the Lean Six Sigma quality management methodology. It is the final stage of the Master's programme that will place you as an expert in implementing Lean, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Six Sigma define, measure, analyse, improve and control (DMAIC) and total productive maintenance (TPM).

Aside from having a thorough understanding of DMAIC, TPM, DFSS, and Lean, Black Belts are expected to be proficient at handling complex improvement and process-related projects. Students of our courses also learn the leadership skills needed to manage Green Belts within an organisation.

Course overview

About the course

Lean Six Sigma has emerged as a popular business management strategy applied to projects globally, focusing on maximising business potential through making changes to costing, customer satisfaction and objectives.

ILX’s training and certification will help you understand Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and demonstrate your ability to improve product quality and drive increased profits for your organisation.

Simplilearn offers two levels of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – Technical and Functional. The Technical Certification is offered after the trainee completes 85% of the course and passes the LSSBB Certification Examination with a minimum of 60% score.

After the certification, the trainee should submit a full-scale live DMAIC project for case review by the LSSBB faculty. The trainee will earn a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Functional Certification upon a successful review.

A typical full-scale DMAIC LSSBB project would take 8-9 months (1st Phase) to complete, and the LSSBB must show a projected savings of at least $200,000 from the project.

The exam fee is included for all countries except India, the Indian subcontinent, and Africa.

The candidate can get certified from IASSC in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt by appearing for the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt exam and achieving a minimum score of 70%.

Upon completing the exam and meeting the pass mark, the candidate will receive a certificate suitable for framing issued by the IASSC.
