Technical setup

Which software does ILX use to run its virtual classroom?

ILX uses Zoom to deliver our virtual classrooms. You will be provided with a link to the event two weeks prior to course commencement within your joining instructions. When you click on the link, Zoom will load on your browser.

Can I run a system check in advance of my course?

Yes, you can check and test your computer can support the audio and video requirements within Zoom and that you have a working microphone and camera. You can test your system by joining a test meeting at https://link.edgepilot.com/s/18257746/RPccvmfhg0K6QN1riYZ4LA?u=http://zoom.us/test

Note: This pre-virtual classroom test session is required to ensure that you do not encounter any technical issues when you connect to our training.

What are the technical requirements for ILX virtual training?

Do I need to use a headset?

We strongly recommend that all delegates use a headset as this will enhance the learner experience. It also removes the possibility of audio feedback.

How long before the event should I log in?

We recommend that you log in at least 15 minutes prior to your daily start time.
