The sprint

The course covers the full sprint cycle, from planning to execution and reflection. How do I take my Scrum Essentials exam?

The Scrum Essentials exam is closed book. You will have 40 minutes to answer 50 multiple choice questions, and must achieve a score of 30 marks or higher (60%) to pass. The exam is taken online via a remote proctor.

Is Scrum Essentials a prerequisite to take AgilePM®?

The Scrum Essentials certification is not a formal prerequisite of the new AgilePM v3 certification, but the knowledge is assumed in the updated AgilePM syllabus, so we would recommend completing the Scrum Essentials course first. However, the AgilePM live virtual and in-person classroom courses from ILX include Scrum Essentials eLearning as part of the pre-course work.
