Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) is a structured framework representing proven programme management best practice in successfully delivering transformational change.
This is an intensive workshop-based examination session where delegates’ practical experience is coupled with the theory of MSP, to give a realistic understanding of real-world application. This workshop concentrates on the application of the delegates' previously acquired MSP knowledge and will involve working, both individually and as a group, through the designated MSP case study.
The course follows the standard syllabus for the Advanced Practitioner qualification and will put particular emphasis on the interconnections of the Governance Themes and the Transformational Flow processes, as well as considering how the principles of MSP could be applied in different situations. You will work through a set case study during the workshop as well as sample examination papers and exercises. Delegates will gain effective insights and tips for the examination, making them fully prepared for the MSP Advanced Practitioner examination on the afternoon of the second day.
Two day classroom course with the exam on day two.
This course is geared to those who need to validate their Programme Management experience and differentiate themselves from those who merely know the theory behind MSP. Delegates must demonstrate this practical experience in answering examination questions. Practical application and a good level of understanding would come from having worked within large programmes, this could include those who have or currently hold roles such as:
