Tele-Sales Executive

Job title: Tele-Sales Executive, ILX Group, Nantwich

Summary of role:

To contribute to the development of new business for the ILX Group; Corporate Division, by creating new business opportunities.

This role will report directly to Head of Sales and will require someone with expertise in identifying areas for business prospecting. They will also work with Marketing; in the formulation and follow activity of targeted marketing campaigns, designed to drive revenues and deliver value learning propositions

Responsible for business development - developing and retaining business within a given vertical sector. Depending on skills and experience you will be responsible for developing large key accounts and potentially key international clients.

The role requires the ability and mind-set to create your own opportunities with support from various marketing activities/support materials. The primary objective is to maximise all opportunities in order to meet and exceed sales and GP targets. At the same time your aim will be to give clients excellent value from their investment with ILX - ensuring that it benefits both their people and their business. Through your role as a Tele-Sales Executive for ILX you must aim to positively enhance our reputation and brand in the market place.

Objectives and Responsibilities

Your overall objective is to develop and close new business for ILX Group. Ensuring all activity KPIs are met or exceeded. Your time will be 100% phone based.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make over 30 calls proactive outbound calls per day
  • Responsible for growing sales in own territory
  • Researching, targeting and prospecting for new clients using networking and social media to identify relevant opportunities
  • Selling the whole range of ILX services including: e-learning, classroom learning, blended learning
  • Following up on all corporate e-mail campaigns
  • Enter data accurately and maintain CRM system
  • Follow up daily website traffic, downloads, marketing leads and Customer feedback requests
  • Advise ILX clients of the Group's training and consultancy products;
  • Keep up to date with new developments and requirements in the wider marketplace as well as within ILX Group
  • Generate new business opportunities via sales appointments
  • Receive and answer verbal and written queries from external clients and internal staff in a timely and accurate manner
  • Keep appropriate statistics as directed
  • Comply with all ILX Policies and Procedures

  • Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with database packages
