About the course
This course prepares you for the BCS Foundation certificate in Business Analysis examination which is one of four modules required to gain the International Diploma in Business Analysis. The Foundation qualification is aimed at those who want to understand business analysis, support change and improve business processes.

Duration
This is an intensive three-day course that prepares you for the BCS Business Analysis Foundation examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found on our website here.

Materials
Digital ILX course materials: These will be accessible via the ILX portal. Full instructions with a link to the portal will be issued at point of purchase. The course materials will be provided in a PDF format and available for download.
Hardcopy official manual: The hardcopy official manual will be shipped to your chosen address approximately two weeks prior to course commencement.
Exam information
HOW YOU TAKE YOUR EXAM
The exam is taken online via remote proctor. Two weeks prior to course commencement ILX will arrange for an exam voucher to be issued. You then have a choice you can either:

Book a suitable time after your virtual classroom event has finished to undertake your exam
OR

We currently allocate exam time within the virtual classroom event. So that you can book directly, we will advise you of recommended exam timings as part of the candidate guidance — this is issued three weeks prior to course commencement
Note: You are responsible for booking your own exam.
Exam format
The format for this exam is as follows:
- 60-minute duration
- Multiple-choice examination
- Closed book
- Pass mark is 26/40 (65%)
