Accounts Administrator Apprentice

The Opportunity

ILX Group is a global, fast-growing provider of accredited training and consulting solutions. We are looking for an Accounts Administrator Apprentice to join our supportive finance team. Working from our Bracknell office three days a week. As part of a mostly distributed workforce, we value collaboration, communication, and flexibility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed their A Levels, decided not to go to university, but wants to continue learning, gain a professional qualification, and build a rewarding career in finance.

About You

You’ll have a genuine interest in accounts and finance, with the enthusiasm and motivation to learn on the job. You should have at least two A Levels at grade C or above, strong numeracy skills, and good attention to detail. Most importantly, you’ll bring a positive attitude, a willingness to develop new skills, and good interpersonal skills that will help you work effectively with colleagues and suppliers.

What will you be doing?

As part of our finance team of four, you will gain hands-on experience while studying towards your Level 3 apprenticeship. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing supplier emails and queries
  • Logging and processing invoices
  • Sending out sales invoices
  • Supporting with general finance administration and ad hoc tasks

This role will give you a solid grounding in accounts administration, with the potential to progress onto a Level 4 apprenticeship upon successful completion of Level 3.
