About the course

Change Management is associated with the effects and management of change; this is primarily within organisations where change can have greater impact. This qualification is based on the theory and application of change for the individual, change for the organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement and change management best practice. Once you have passed the Foundation qualification you can progress to the more advanced Practitioner qualification.

What is virtual training?

Virtual training incorporates both the personal teaching experience of a classroom, with the ease and flexibility of a virtual environment. Our virtual courses are interactive and engaging, allowing participants to communicate with both the instructor and each other in a collaborative manner. Duration

This is an intensive three-day course that prepares you for the Change Management Foundation examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found on our website. In addition, whilst attending your course, there will also be some examination preparation evening work.

Learning objectives

By the end of the course you will:

Understand how individuals are impacted by change, and be able to develop strategies to help people through change
Develop insights into how organisations work , organisational culture and the models and processes of change
Understand the drivers of change, the change governance structures typically used in organisations and how to define a change vision
Appreciate how to prepare people for change and support their learning and motivation to change
Learn about the stakeholder engagement process and how to develop suitable communications strategies and plans
Appreciate the impact of change on organisations , how to build momentum for change and sustain it
Understand the importance of defined change roles, and how to build and support an effective change team

The cost of the Change Management Foundation examination (must be taken online via remote proctor within 12 months of purchase)

Materials

For last-minute bookings (10 working days or less before start date), you will be issued with digital materials – this will include all accompanying course materials (usually a workbook) and a manual, if this is included as part of your purchase.

The course materials will be provided in a PDF format and available for download via our virtual platform on the first day of the course. You will need to download and save the materials to your device, so that you can annotate them during the training course.

Your digital course manual will be sent as a PDF/eBook via email from APMG (ATOBookorders@apmgroup.co.uk), and will only be compatible with Adobe Digital Editions. Therefore you will need to have this installed on your device.

A concentrated course that requires you to complete mandatory online pre-course study, which is designed to take approximately six to eight hours to complete. Full instructions with a link to the online pre-course will be issued within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. Two weeks prior to course commencement ILX will arrange for an exam voucher to be issued. You then have a choice, you can either:

We currently allocate exam time within the virtual classroom event. So that you can book directly, we will advise you of recommended exam timings as part of the candidate guidance — this is issued three weeks prior to course commencement
