ILX Group’s accredited MSP Foundation and Practitioner blended learning is designed to help you become MSP-certified by using a combination of interactive multimedia training, workshops and paper-based exercises.

About the course

ILX Group’s accredited MSP Foundation and Practitioner blended learning course contains all of the training and materials you need to attain both the Foundation and Practitioner qualifications in MSP. It combines interactive multimedia training, workshops, video, practical exercises, mock exam simulators, paper-based exercises and access to an MSP training expert throughout the entire programme including the two-day workshop.

Important note: As of February 2015 all MSP Foundation exams must be undertaken and passed online via remote web proctor  prior to attending the two-day Practitioner workshop.

The new blended learning format will be as follows:

  • MSP online learning access provided upon purchase
  • MSP Foundation exam: Must be taken online via remote web proctor and pass confirmation received prior to attending your workshop
  • Two-day MSP Practitioner workshop including the MSP Practitioner exam. You will sit this exam at the end of the Practitioner workshop

Duration

12 months access to the MSP Foundation e-learning, and a two-day Practitioner workshop which you will attend once you have compelted the e-learning.

Pre-course

What is it?

To assist your learning there is some pre-course reading and activities that must be completed prior to attending your course. In addition whilst attending your course there will also be some examination preparation evening work.

How do i access my pre-course?

You will be sent full instructions with a link to the online pre course within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.

Exam information

Exam format

Foundation

  • Multiple choice
  • 75 questions per paper with one mark available per question
  • Five questions to be trial and not counted in scores
  • 35 marks required to pass (out of 70 available) – 50%
  • 60 minutes duration
  • Closed-book

Practitioner

In order to sit the Practitioner exam you must have passed the MSP Foundation examination

  • Objective testing
  • Eight questions per paper, 
  • 80 marks available in total
  • 40 marks required to pass – 50%
  • Two-and-a-half hours duration
  • Open-book (only the MSP guide is allowed)
