Management of Risk (M_o_R)® is a generic framework for the management of risk across all parts of an organisation — strategic, programme, project and operational. It incorporates all the activities required to identify and control the exposure to any type of risk, positive or negative, which may have an impact on the achievement of your organisation’s business objectives.
The purpose of the Foundation qualification is to confirm that a you have the necessary knowledge and understanding to contribute to the identification, assessment and control of risks across any organisational perspective. While the Practitioner qualification will ensure you have achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor M_o_R in a scenario situation.
What is virtual training?

It provides delegates with the opportunity to practice Practitioner style questions in preparation for the Practitioner paper by integrating the following:
This is an intensive five-day course that prepares you for the M_o_R Foundation and Practitioner examinations. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found here. In addition, whilst attending your course, there will also be some examination preparation evening work.
This qualification is aimed at anyone working within a corporate governance environment that has responsibilities for identifying, assessing, planning, or managing risks, or reporting on risk management activities across the organisation. It is best suited to people in the following job roles:

A concentrated course that requires you to complete mandatory online pre-course study, which is designed to take approximately 6–8 hours to complete. Full instructions with a link to the online pre-course will be issued within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. Two weeks prior to course commencement, ILX will arrange for an exam voucher to be issued. You then have a choice, you can either:

Candidates may make use of the Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners (the Management of Risk ‘guide’), together with the ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques guidance document. No material other than the question booklet, the scenario booklet, the answer booklet and the two guides is to be used.
