About the course

Based on the proven fundamentals within DSDM, the AgilePM certification lives up to its name by providing users of the method with the core principles needed to facilitate a successful project, whilst allowing a degree of scope and agility that not many other methodologies provide. ILX Group’s Agile Project Management™ (AgilePM) Foundation virtual course will help you prepare for the Foundation exam. 

What is virtual classroom training?

ILX’s virtual instructor-led training combines the personal teaching experience of a classroom, with the ease and flexibility of a virtual environment. Duration

This is an intensive one-day course that prepares you for the AgilePM Foundation examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found on our website here.

Pre-requisites

There are no formal pre-requisites for undertaking the Foundation exam.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course you should understand the key principles and terminology within the Agile Management Foundation guidance. Specifically:

• The underpinning philosophy and principles of Agile
• The lifecycle of an Agile project, including alternative configurations
• The products produced during an Agile project and their purpose
• The techniques used and their benefits and limitations
• The roles and responsibilities within an Agile project.

This is an intensive one-day virtual course, providing all you need to get through the AgilePM Foundation examination first time:

  • The cost of the AgilePM Foundation examination (must be taken online via remote proctor within 12 months of purchase)

Target audience

With a clear, concise and detailed perspective on project productivity, the Agile PM certification is useful to all candidates and competency levels ranging from highly experienced project managers to those new to the industry.

There is mandatory online pre-course work that must be completed prior to attending this course. It is expected that this pre-course will take approximate 8-10 hours to complete.You will be sent full instructions with a link to the online pre-course within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.

In addition, you will also be required to complete some evening work during the virtual classroom event.

HOW YOU TAKE YOUR EXAM

The Foundation exam is taken online via remote proctor. Two weeks prior to course commencement ILX will arrange for an exam voucher to be issued. You then have a choice you can either:

  • Book a suitable time after your virtual classroom event has finished to undertake your exam

OR

  • We currently allocate exam time within the virtual classroom event. So that you can book directly, we will advise you of recommended exam timings as part of the candidate guidance — this is issued three weeks prior to course commencement
