We are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for driving forward a growing arm of the business, ensuring continuous profitable sales growth and reaching agreed targets.

This role would be ideal for an individual with a strong Sales background and preferably knowledge of sales relating to courses and training. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with individuals at all levels. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing market share and market awareness for the ILX Group. You will grow existing relationships and develop new relationships with key players in agreed business territories to build our client profile and become our client's preferred provider for training courses.


Responsibilities

  • Delivering a personal monthly, quarterly and annual revenue target (individually agreed with the Sales Manager);
  • Conducting focussed and well planned business development activities;
  • Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of clients;
  • Grow revenue base and establish base plan for growth;
  • Develop client accounts to maximise revenue generation opportunities for Group services (including consultancy and recruitment);
  • Contribute to positive client satisfaction and establish client executive relationships
  • Working with internal resource and third parties to deliver solutions to meet client requirements in the UK and/or Globally;
  • Develop a clear understanding of company and group services.
  • Conduct business development activities to include: phone calls, client meetings - pitches / presentations, mailshots, social media postings, attending conferences etc;
  • Demonstrate strong sales credibility and knowledge throughout the sales process;
  • Build and develop client relationships;
  • Ensure a client portfolio strategy is in place to include: targeting, account development planning and targeting new business;
  • Provide clients with exemplary service - through urgency, consultation and with a proactive approach;
  • Maintain and manage pipeline including use of CRM platform (Salesforce);
  • Record all information - such as calls, meetings, development plans, actions etc in CRM platform (Salesforce);
  • Ensure all company administrative processes and best practice guidelines are followed;
  • Use innovative methods such as social media selling and networking to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities
