Job Title: Project Administrator

Reports to: Best Practice Manager

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire with flexible working from home

We have a new opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our Product Management team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a wide range of skills in order to create, maintain and evolve the ILX product portfolio. This is a diverse role that requires you to work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers.

Role overview

This is a hands-on role requiring the successful candidate to develop a deep understanding of our products and solutions and to work with all teams within the business in the setup and maintenance of new and existing products. The successful candidate will demonstrate success in the role by balancing the management of day-to-day requests with their own personal objectives to deliver projects on time and to budget.

Key responsibilities

  • Support ad-hoc projects including the creation and maintaining of project documentation, specifically action logs, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
  • Manage the process for new product setup which involves working with numerous stakeholders from external suppliers through to Finance, Business Systems, Operations, Marketing and Sales.
  • Maintenance of existing ILX products, including updates to the website, internal systems and communications to Trainers and Sales.
  • Quality review standard course content across the company ensuring consistency between products and legal obligations are met.
  • Liaise directly with all external Accreditation bodies, Examination Institutes and IP owners.
  • Staying current with latest accreditation standards and updates from IP owners.
  • Contributing fully to the overall development of the ILX business.
  • Undertake other tasks and duties as required

Product Development Manager

Providing support in the development and maintenance of new/existing products.

Sales

Day-to-day user support, including answering questions, providing updates on changes and training on new products.

Marketing

Provision of product information relating to new product & existing products for campaign use

Finance

Creation and setup of new products across multiple internal systems

Third-party suppliers

Relationship management to stay abreast of product updates and new releases. 

Customers

Providing 2nd line support on product queries that need to be escalated to Examining institutes or IP owners

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have a background in or experience of a Project Management environment and knowledge of the Project Management training industry. You must have good attention to detail, and it would be advantageous to be familiar with content management systems.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Flexible team focused approach
  • Prior experience in project administration, preferably in the training or education industry.

Desirable skills / experiences

  • Familiar with Project Management training standards
  • Previous experience of working for a commercial training company would be advantageous.
