The M_o_R Practitioner course has been designed to provide delegates with the opportunity to practice the practical application of the M_o_R method. It covers the 12 M_o_R principles, the approach, process and the basic techniques essential to managing risks using the M_o_R guidance. The purpose of the Practitioner qualification is to confirm whether you have achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor M_o_R in a scenario situation.

This is an intensive two-day course that prepares you for the M_o_R Practitioner examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found on our website. In addition, whilst attending your course, there will also be some examination preparation evening work.
You must pass Foundation prior to taking the Practitioner examination.

Digital ILX course materials: These will be accessible via the ILX portal. You will need to download and save the materials to your device, so that you can annotate them during the training course.

This course follows the Practitioner syllabus and focuses on the application of all the areas covered in the M_o_R Foundation course. It provides delegates with the opportunity to practice Practitioner style questions in preparation for the Practitioner paper by integrating the following:

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two weeks prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exam. Candidates may make use of the Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners (the Management of Risk ‘guide’), together with the ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques guidance document. No material other than the question booklet, the scenario booklet, the answer booklet and the two guides is to be used.
