ITIL® 4 Create Deliver and Support (CDS) virtual

If you’re based at home but prefer the collaborative nature of a classroom environment, our virtual courses are just what you’re looking for.

About the course

The Create, Deliver and Support (CDS) qualification provides you with an understanding on how to integrate different value streams and activities to create, deliver and support IT-enabled products and services, and relevant practices, methods and tools. It will also give you an understanding of service performance, service quality and improvement methods. The examination assesses whether you can demonstrate sufficient understanding and application of ITIL 4 to the creation, delivery and support of services, as described in the CDS syllabus.

The ITIL 4 CDS qualification is one of the pre-requisites for the designation of ITIL 4 Managing Professional which assesses the candidate’s practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful, modern IT-enabled services, teams and workflows.

What is virtual classroom training?

ILX’s virtual instructor-led training combines the personal teaching experience of a classroom, with the ease and flexibility of a virtual environment. Our virtual courses are interactive and engaging, allowing participants to communicate with both the instructor and each other in a collaborative manner.

Duration

This is an intensive three-day course that prepares you for the Create , Deliver and Support (CDS) examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found on our website here.

Pre-requisites

There are two formal prerequisites in order to sit the exam. You must have passed the ITIL 4 Foundation examination and you must attend an accredited training course.

Learning objectives

At the end of the course, you will:

  • Understand how to plan and build a service value stream to create, deliver, and support services
  • Know how relevant ITIL practices contribute to the creation, delivery and support across the SVS and value streams
  • Know how to create, deliver and support services

This is an intensive three-day virtual course that includes:

  • All accompanying course material
  • The CDS official manual
  • The cost of the CDS examination (must be taken online via remote proctor within 12 months of purchase)

Materials

For last-minute bookings (10 working days or less before start date), you will be issued with digital materials – this will include all accompanying course materials (usually a workbook) and a manual, if this is included as part of your purchase.

The course materials will be provided in a PDF format and available for download via our virtual platform on the first day of the course. You will need to download and save the materials to your device, so that you can annotate them during the training course.

Your digital course manual will be sent as a PDF/eBook via email from TSO Customer Services (customer.service@tso.co.uk), and will only be compatible with Adobe Digital Editions. Therefore you will need to have this installed on your device.
