ITIL® 4 Create Deliver and Support (CDS) classroom

The ILX three day Create Deliver and Support classroom course provides you with all the required learning to prepare you for the CDS examination. 

About the course

The Create Deliver and Support qualification provides you with an understanding on how to integrate different value streams and activities to create, deliver and support IT-enabled products and services, and relevant practices, methods and tools. It will also give you an understanding of service performance, service quality and improvement methods. The examination assesses whether you can demonstrate sufficient understanding and application of ITIL 4 to the creation, delivery and support of services, as described in the CDS syllabus.  

The ITIL 4 CDS qualification is one of the pre-requisites for the designation of ITIL 4 Managing Professional which assesses the candidate’s practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful, modern IT-enabled services, teams and workflows.

Duration

This is an intensive three-day course that helps prepare you for the ITIL 4 CDS examination. Exams are taken online via remote proctor.

Pre-requisites

There are two formal prerequisites in order to sit the exam. You must have passed the ITIL 4 Foundation examination and you must attend an accredited training course.

Learning objectives

At the end of the course, you will:

  • Understand how to plan and build a service value stream to create, deliver, and support services 
  • Know how relevant ITIL practices contribute to the creation, delivery and support across the SVS and value streams 
  • Know how to create, deliver and support services

This is an intensive three-day course that includes the following:

  • All accompanying course material (hardcopy)
  • Online pre-course
  • The official ITIL 4 CDS manual (digital & hardcopy)            
  • The cost of the ITIL 4 CDS examination (valid for 12 months from purchase date. Exam must be taken online via remote proctor)

Materials

Hardcopy course material: You will be provided with a printed version of the course material. This will be issued on day one of your course.

Digital and hardcopy official manual: You will be given access to both a digital and hardcopy version of the official manual. The hardcopy will be issued on day one of your course with your course material. For the digital version you will be sent an email invitation approximately two weeks prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to access the digital version of your manual.

There is mandatory pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. You will be sent full instructions prior to the event. In addition, whilst attending the course there will also be some exam preparation evening work.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two weeks prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exam.   • Pass mark is 70% or higher – a raw score of 28 marks or above
