This bridging course helps you understand changes from the 6th Edition, including the introduction of a new ‘people integrated element’ and four new management approaches that all form part of the PID (project initiation documentation). You will gain the knowledge to help confidently apply the updated PRINCE2 methodology.
The introduction of a ‘People’ element
Soft skills are essential within project management. The ‘people’ integrated element now sits at the heart of the other four integrated elements – “principles”, “practices” (formally called the 7 themes), “processes” and “project context”, and teaches you guidance for effectively managing teams and stakeholders, and essential communication skills that will ensure project success.
Four new management approaches
Forming part of the PID, four new management approaches have been introduced to help meet modern business needs. Learn about the ‘change management approach’, the 'commercial management approach', the ‘data management approach’ and the 'sustainability management approach' and how they lead to project success.

The eLearning course will take approximately 21 hours to complete, and you have access to the online learning materials for 12 months.
And yes, to obtain the certification, you must pass an exam which is taken online via remote proctor. The exam is multiple choice and open book. There are 70 questions, each worth one mark. The pass mark is 60%, which equates to 42 marks or more.
