About the course

Lean six sigma is a structured problem-solving methodology designed to help organisations introduce and sustain a culture of continuous process and service improvement. Lean six sigma is widely recognised as one the most successful improvement methods of all times. ILX use a unique lean six sigma framework designed specifically for organisations in finance, telecommunications, public sector, transport, utilities and information technology.

The Champion training is designed for individuals actively involved in continuous improvement programmes and likely to cover the role of Project Sponsor (i.e. Champion) or those seeking to gain a basic understanding of lean six sigma and its applications to services and IT process improvement. This course introduction will allow delegates to understand the key concepts of lean six sigma, the evolution of the methodology and its applications to services and IT. The emphasis is placed on the strategic aspects of lean six sigma deployments and the business case for continuous process improvement.

In addition, you will learn how to select the right lean six sigma projects and how to effectively support improvement teams as Project Champions.
