The APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) is an internationally-recognised knowledge-based qualification that enables you to satisfy the needs of modern-day projects, by fully participating in undertakings ranging from individual assignments to large capital projects. It is the benchmark qualification for anyone embarking on a project management career, or looking to add project management to their portfolio of skills.

The syllabus for the APM Project Management Qualification is based upon the APM Body of Knowledge. It assesses the breadth of knowledge in all areas of project management from strategic and commercial implications, to technical, organisational and people management skills required to participate effectively in project management. This course is designed for individuals from both the public and private sectors, including those working in the management of projects ranging from individual assignments through to those working on large capital or change projects. This includes:
Candidates attending the professional programme would benefit from having a minimum of two years relevant practical experience of project management.
By the time you attend this course you must have completed all the mandatory online pre-course. The APM recommend between 70-80 hours preparation for the exam, the online pre-course is designed to take approximately four hours to complete. In addition, whilst attending your course there will also be examination preparation evening work.
