E-Learning Giant Comes To Denmark
One of the great international e-learning based IT training providers has now entered Denmark with the opening of their Nordic Headquarters in Copenhagen.
ILX specialises in project management tools training, offered via their e-learning courses, and all supported by local offices. The goal is to build a Nordic organisation of 10-15 men across offices in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki.
Founded in England in 1988, ILX has trained half a million people in 97 countries. With e-learning the focus, ILX approaches large companies with a global strategy, and public sector clients.
At the head of the Nordic initiative is Kenneth Baek, Regional Manager for ILX Scandinavia, who believes that the potential to provide training in project management tools in Denmark and the Nordic countries is huge:
Capsized Public IT Projects
Besides the big organisations, ILX also look to the public sector, where government IT projects often become overwhelmed without better management and a little project maturity.
Baek adds:
ILX's learning solutions can be used via an existing corporate learning management system (LMS). ILX offers courses specialising in project management methodologies PRINCE2, ITIL, MSP and APM.
