ILX launches PRINCE2® Practitioner Plus to help accelerate project management skills through e-learning

...A new accredited multi-media e-learning course to take delegates to PRINCE2 Practitioner level without entering the classroom...

ILX Group plc today launched PRINCE2 Practitioner Plus a special stand alone e-learning package that allows delegates to reach PRINCE2 Practitioner level qualification without having to enter the classroom – and without comprising on the quality of learning.  The course is accredited by the APM Group (APMG).

Developed in-house by the ILX Group, PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner
e-learning breaks new ground in levels of innovation and interaction in distance learning and offers students a compelling alternative to traditional classroom training.  It uses cutting-edge multi-media technology to provide a comprehensive computer based training course that can  match the quality and content by any instructor led course.  The e-learning Foundation and Practitioner courses will take around 20–25 hours to complete. The CD can be completed in the delegate’s own time and then the exams can be taken locally within 12 months.

New Features include:

  • Cutting edge technology to provide a true alternative to a classroom course.
  • A video tutor leads students through the course, giving the feeling of being engaged by a real-life tutor.
  • To keep the course as close as possible to the content of an instructor-led course, the e-learning includes a comprehensive PRINCE2 project simulation based on a complex scenario, incorporating a series of practical exercises. These simulations replace practical exercises normally undertaken during a classroom workshop and provide valuable and detailed feedback on the chosen solution throughout.
  • The Objective Test Exam simulator allows students to practice the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam in a safe environment to help prepare them for the exam.

The course conforms to the syllabus for those delegates wishing to gain both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner level certifications. It will benefit project and programme managers, team managers and support staff, individuals who will have a defined role within a project as well as project management consultants.
