SME's and Consultants in Australia Discover e-Learning Benefits
Small to medium sized enterprises (SME’s) and individual consultants are turning to project management e-learning courses to save time and money as well as up skill to secure lucrative government and corporate contracts.
Over 60 per cent of clients undertaking e-learning courses with the world’s leading technology based business training company ILX Group (ILX), are SME’s and individual consultants.
Sandra Diethelm, Director at IXL Pty Ltd, a Brisbane based management consulting firm says small businesses simply can’t afford to be off site for training purposes as the income loss would be too great.
Ms Diethelm said:
"After much research on the website I found ILX and was very impressed with the company’s brand and what it represented. They were serious about delivering quality courses and are a trusted brand used by well-known companies and government departments across the world."
"This is the first time I have undertaken an online training course and found it much more efficient when compared to books and printed material. The animation components were very cleverly done."
Ms Diethelm undertook PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner courses to further enhance her capabilities to deliver outcomes for clients and secure additional project management work in the government and corporate sectors.
Ms Diethelm concluded:
Maidy Tan has worked for large human resources organisations and more recently a financial services institution in Melbourne. She was seeking ways to improve her chances of moving up the management ranks and to further improve her skill set. Prompted by an advertisement she decided to undertake an ILX ITIL version 3 Foundation e-learning course.
“I saw the ITIL course as a great way to strengthen my management skills in preparation for a more senior position early next year. The flexibility of the course and the ability to be involved in a review process throughout made the overall experience very positive."
Small businesses and individual consultants, predominantly working as business consultants in the IT, mining and government sectors, are using ILX Group’s PRINCE2, MSP and e-learning courses.
Michelle Phillips, Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand for ILX Group concluded:
"Today companies are looking for managers who have a clear understanding of how to manage projects to gain a better return on investment. By undertaking a project management course, consultants are placing themselves in a better position to secure lucrative internal positions and contracts."
"University graduates are also increasingly enrolling in the courses to secure sought-after positions and to gain an advantage over their rivals."
ILX Group currently services over 5,000 clients across 91 countries.
