ILX Witnesses Surge In Australian Demand for Project Management Training Solutions Following Gershon Report
Late last year, the Australian government released and subsequently adopted the Gershon report recommendations that highlighted a series of changes for improving operational effectiveness and efficiency.
The UK government had already commissioned a similar report - Government ICT Strategy: New World, New Challenges, New Opportunities - which was widely adopted by government departments. The UK report proved to be a precursor to PRINCE2 taking off in the UK. ILX is already witnessing a similar pattern of response from government departments and private businesses in Australia as a direct consequence of the Gershon report recommendations.
