This document explains the MSP qualification changes that were launched on the 3rd September 2007.

Defines how the programme will identify, monitor, deliver and realise the expected benefits. Used to monitor the delivery of business benefits throughout the programme.

To define when a specific benefit can start to be realised following the delivery of the new capability, and the requirements of the business operations in order to actually realise that benefit.

Describes the way the organisation will deliver the capabilities described in the Vision Statement including the intermediate milestone points along the way.

Defines the justification for undertaking the programme, based on the estimated costs of the programme and the anticipated benefits to the organisation as a result of the transformed organisation and its new/ extended capability.

Defines how information about the programme will be disseminated to stakeholders, people directly involved in the programme, the rest of the organisation and any other external organisations.

Benchmarking project management capability against the PRINCE2 Maturity Model (P2MM) demonstrates the organisational improvements delivered by our Implementing PRINCE2 for Real programme.

The P2MM is very similar to the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) but consists of only three levels. It is designed to assess how an organisation can implement and use PRINCE2 shifting the implementation focus from the individual to the organisation.
