What is MSP?

What is the difference between MSP and PRINCE2®?
MSP and PRINCE2 are both widely recognised methodologies, and while they are complementary to each other they serve different purposes.
PRINCE2 is one of the most well-known methodologies for managing projects globally. MSP is a programme management framework from the same product suite at PeopleCert (the accrediting body) and is therefore an excellent follow-on course from PRINCE2.
MSP has a more strategic approach, while PRINCE2 provides a more tactical focus. Using the two together means organisations can ensure their project management approach is aligned with their overall strategy, while still maintaining a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required level of quality.
