Customisation

All of our courses have been designed for ease of customisation to easily match the exact needs of any organisation. Using a range of online development tools our experienced and talented in-house development team can provide customisations ranging from changes in financial terminology to producing new course material, administrative systems and branded delivery sites.

Hilton commissioned a customised version of the courses specific to the requirements of the hotel industry. The customisation involved terminology changes, graphical updates and the creation of new content. This has been in use since 2002 and is on offer to the entire management population at Hilton. The most recent update was in June 2008.
SGS commissioned a customised version of the courses for their Finance for Managers programme. The customisation was carried out in GB English, French, Spanish and Mandarin. The customisation involved terminology changes, graphical updates and the creation of new content. The programme is now at the end of its second year, having successfully trained well over 1000 managers.
GKN commissioned a customised and branded global Finance Portal for their Finance for Managers programme. The portal contains a message from the course sponsor and has curricula mapped to job role and level of management. Enrolment is handled through a bespoke online administration and approval system.

Overlay notes

Our online Overlay Notes Editor is a cost effective customisation solution. It allows the client to add company specific notes to the course content. These notes can be branded, can contain text, graphics and animation. They can also link out to documents on the web or on a local intranet.

Implementation

Our experience in implementing global organisational wide training initiatives is a key differentiator. Our support services, email reminder, admin and reporting tools greatly reduce the burden of running a successful training programme.

Ciba Speciality Chemicals run a compulsory initiative across it's management population of 2,500 managers, spanning 128 countries. Within 6 weeks 2,500 managers had all successfully completed a FACT assessment, identifying a substantial knowledge gap. Within a year each manager had on average completed 8-9 hours worth of training. 22,500 hours of training within 1 year. The programme was supported by the ILX group email reminder service, admin and reporting tools.
